One touch can openers are awesome!!

My parents bought the most amazing thing ever from Wal-Mart. The one touch can opener they bought only cost about $18CDN. It works wonders…this is coming from someone who hates and can’t use those traditional can openers.

I am so thankful they got this awhile ago. Now I can open fruit cans easily without having to call someone to open it for me. I’ll try to snap a picture of it sometime tomorrow morning because it’s pretty late now and don’t feel like going upstairs to fetch it in the middle of the night.

So look out for the extra photo of our cool can opener.

Alicia Keys has it all. Her music is absolutely amazing!! All her songs are down to earth and meaningful. Here’s her video of a great song that’s on her album called “As I Am” that comes out this month. The song is called “No One”.

The day is gone already??

You’d think that staying home from school for the day, I’d have a lot of time to get things done. NOT! …..everytime I stay home, I end up just blogging, watching tv, playing games, eating, and sleeping. Not very productive especially since I have so many bloody assignments and studying to do!! Arrrggghhhh…

I seriously need to manage my time more wisely. I just can’t help that school doesn’t interest me at all. Does that mean it’s a bad choice for a career. Probably…as I always think you should love what you’re doing as work. *sigh* Office administration doesn’t really interest me at all. That’s probably why I keep skipping all these classes.

I need to go back to school for something I love like photography or designing. I miss those classes…

Too much cancer yet no cure

It’s crazy that there are so many types of cancers that exist today. Many of them I’m still learning about or just heard about such as Mesothelioma cancer.

Cancer is what kills millions of people worldwide. Why isn’t there a cure yet? Why hasn’t the top scientists/doctors come together to find something that will beat the disease.

Too many in my family have fall victim to it and I’m sure it’s the same in your family. It’s everywhere and there’s almost nothing we can do to prevent it. I keep hearing that blank causes it. Then the next day it’s another thing and so forth. It seems everything causes it but yet there’s nothing to prevent it.

I hope they come out with a cure soon. A cure for all types of cancer and diseases like AIDS.

Lighting area in stores

Is almost every city you’ll find a Home Depot or other hardware related store. The section I love to visit is the home lighting area. They have so many kinds of lights for pretty much everywhere in your home.

I usually pass by and look at the different lighting each lamp or light fixture is giving. Some of them display such a vibrant colour, while others are just plain.

If you ever walk around in the lighting area of a store, you know what I’m talking about. There is just so many choices since they are all unique and differ in style.

The end of the year that is…..LOL!!

Wow…it’s NOVEMBER ALREADY!!! Where has time gone this year? Geeze…pretty soon it’s Christmas too. But before that, an exciting event will be happening. My nephew will be born soon since he’s due on Nov 21, 2007.

My sister is a little nervous but she’s doing the best she can. We’ve been looking around for nice photo birth announcements so she can send them out to relatives and friends once he’s born. I think the hospital may have packages of something like this that she can pick from. We’ll just have to see when the time comes.

I’m really looking forward to meeting this little bundle of joy.
