I was talking to a good friend of mine the other day, and he was complaining about how his insurance for his car has rates that are through the roof. I felt bad and even suggested where my family switched to because it’s so much more better.

Yes…almost everyone in my family switched from Company A to Company B because of their insurance rates where unbelievable. I can’t believe how some companies try and scam you.

Thank goodness we changed though. The guy is always so helpful and makes the best deals possible.

My sister’s birthday is coming up - February 17th. I don’t really have a clue what I’m going to get her.

I might have to go with something hopefully easy such as clothes, but even that can become difficult because of her sense of style. Humm…maybe I’ll check out jewelry or some Oakley watches. Maybe even some handbags.

Ughh….you’d think I’d know what she wants by now considering her birthday is a few days away. *sigh*

I always leave getting gifts for the last minute. >_<

So many people have been asking me what kind of weight loss pills I’ve tried out. To be honest..the only thing I did try was hoodia but that lasted a whole ONE DAY.

Yes…just one day..Why??

Because I hate taking any kind of pill that I don’t think my body really needs. I even refuse to take aspirin. Only on rare occasions where I’ve got a headache from hell will I take it.

I truly believe that your body can heal pretty much anything without the need for drugs/medication of any kind.

I have so much time to think about things these days, that I get mentally exhausted. And no, I’m not joking.

I think about all sorts of things from money, to my social life, things I have to do, about life insurance, car problems, and not to mention my own personal issues that I’m trying to deal with.

It just seems life gets harder each and every day and it’s not like I’m stressing from marriage or children. I have neither.

Ughh….just wish I can figure things out.

Makes me laugh

February 15, 2009 | Comments | My Personal Life

My nephew makes me laugh at the funny and weird things he does. In his bedroom, are my sister’s old tv stands which look more like shelf connected and store his books, some toys, etc. But he is a little more creative and likes to crawl into the shelves and hide there.

Sometimes it will be out of the blue that he does this, and I’m left thinking, what are you doing! Hahaha…but he turns and looks at your with these little dimples and smiles back at you then giggles. You can’t stay mad at him for long. He’s such a cutey pie.

I’ve been reading a lot about weight loss recently and comparing different exercise machines. I already have a gazelle and ab roller, but I want something bigger and better.

I’m not thinking about getting a treadmill. The one I want is like $500 which is not something I can really afford at the moment. I have to pay off my credit card before I go and spend crazy amounts of money on something I may or may not use.

But still…it’s something I want to get maybe this year. Then again, I want lots of stuff this year and even want to go backpacking through Europe. I don’t know how I’ll end up doing anything since I don’t really have a “real job” at the moment and have been doing reviews and posts online to make up for that part.

So once I get my credit card paid off…which is nearing the $4000 debt mark (ouch!), then I can start saving for some purchases and traveling.

Wow…ya I totally need to get a real job now if I want to do that this year. Yes, I just had an epiphany. lol.

I love joining message boards. Not only do you meet new people, you also get a chance to post and read things that apply to your life.

There was this weight loss board I use to frequent a lot last year. People talked about all sorts of weight loss products such as hoodia, Leptovox, and even surgery.

I did try out hoodia. Seemed like only a few days, not enough for me to see any real results. I just found it difficult putting a pill in me that was enormous by the way, and that I didn’t know if it would work or not.

I never continued with it even though I have about 10+ bottles of the stuff and paid way too much for it to go to waste.

But meh…I figured if I’m serious about losing weight, I better get out to the gym and work my butt off.

Wow..it feels like Christmas came and gone so quickly. I just remembered watching my mom filling out Christmas cards back in early December.

She complained about not having some sort of sticker or a rubber stamp that had our address on it to put on the top left corner of the envelope. That was a pain in the butt because I had to write it over and over and over again.

So hopefully before Christmas this year, I’ll get something like that made up. Then I’ll just have to worry about getting people’s addresses right on the front of the envelope instead of worrying about getting mine right time and time again. lol.

Since I have so much free time on my hands, I’ve been seriously considering some sort of Vegas vacations. I have never been to Vegas, and would definitely like to see and experience at least once in my life.

Come on, who doesn’t like all the lights and casino fun. I know I do and would have a blast if a group of friends came along with me.

I’ll have to ask around and see what happens. In the meantime, I have to catch up on some blogging and canceling of some domains.

Yes, I’ve been canceling a bunch of domains I no longer use. So I better finish doing so before getting charged for renewals.

Man…the patio furniture we have in the backyard is getting really nasty and just so worn out. Plus, there’s those little red bugs (you know, the ones you see on sidewalks that when you smash look like blood), crawling all over the chairs and table.

I don’t even bother sitting outside anymore. Too many bugs and if you know me, you know I hate bugs. So I’m trying to convince my parents on getting some kind of new patio set outside.

I want a glass set with comfty cushion seats. My parents want just the regular green or white plastic set.

Which would you choose? LOL!….to me there’s not much of a choice there since the glass ones are wayyy better.

Wouldn’t it be nice to have an extra $10,000 just laying around that you could spend? It definitely would be nice in my life.

I’d buy a lot of things I want which include a Wii, home gyms, and even the best laptop on the market. Then I would put some away to save & collect interest on.

Sadly…I don’t have this kind of money laying around to be spent. In fact, I guess most of us don’t unless you’re some kind of celebrity. LOL!

I love pizza, ice cream, and even french fries. The problem with those foods? They are all too full of fat. *sigh*

You’d think with the billion dollar weight loss industry, they’d come up with something in that is low fat in the meantime. Sadly, I have yet to see anything of this nature because I’d sure as hell be one of the firsts to picking it up.

I mean…how can I give up eating pizza? It’s my favourite junk food!!

I love love LOVEEEEEEE playing The Sims 2. I can’t get enough of it playing with families that are poor, rich, and even different cultures than I am. It’s so much fun seeing them reach their term life, as in end of the road, hello grim reaper. LOL!

It’s funny when he comes along and those two hula girls are dancing. It cracks me up each time. Then you have the rest of the family members crying their eyes out. But that doesn’t last for long. After like 15 seconds you hear KACHING!!! They cashed in on that loved ones life insurance. LOL! Then they have lots of spending money.

On many tv shows I watch, people always have their houses going into foreclosure. I have yet to see this happen to anyone I know or around my neighbourhood. Do I want to see it happen to someone? Of course not.

I mean…how sad would it be to lose your home. Very sad I think that’s why I wouldn’t wish that on anyone! You’ve gotta have a home…somewhere to relax and call your own. Somewhere where you can feel safe and have your own privacy.

I can’t imagine what life if like for anyone who has gone through this.
